Hello you can call me Faydyn.
This page is currently a work in progress.
I generally post experimental music and recipes.
There's also a concept album a cookbook
and a novel I'm working on. Expect to see more information about that in the far-flung future.

Sick as a dog (update) (G)
And now we resume with regularly scheduled programming.
Turns out that last submission's title was borderline prophetic,
not dead yet......
No seriously.
I am In the process of overcoming either the flu or covid. Either way, it's been a rough week. My appetite finally came back yesterday,
I am still dead tired and drained.
Turns out the live set on the 28th is actually on March 1st at 2:00 a.m. It's actually a 24-hour long rockathon. I am hoping that the power starve synthesizer I backordered back in January arrives in time, but if it doesn't it's not the end of the world
On another note, I want to do a bit of world building. I'm not aware of anybody that has combined the type of music I create with a backstory. I actually want to do a concept album.
I have the lore figured out, I just lack the technical skills to do it at the moment.
The closest thing I have found is Black mountain transmitter's black goat of the woods. There's a bit about it being the soundtrack to a forgotten cult horror film that was found buried in the woods or something of that nature.
I have a goal of late next fall or winter but I'm not going to be super upset if it doesn't work out by then. I have to keep reminding myself I only started this journey 6 months ago.
Someone asked me recently what my influences are. To be honest, I grew up hearing a lot of tangerine dream.
If you like what I create I would check out the tangerine dreams album Phaedra then alpha centauri.
Then listen to zeit, for the uninitiated zeit is an album that you listen to if you want to feel nothing.
There's something slightly uncanny about it In a good way. Unlike all of their other material, there's no attempt at song structure here. This is both drone and dark ambient before the terms were even coined.
