Finally I did it. I no longer work for this disgusting company. My college / studying / Information technology certification achievements have paid off. I now work for a much better employer making much better money doing work I enjoy. No more having to fight with managers because they forgot to schedule me around my school despite having 2 months of notice. No more listening to the creepy poor women in the break room go on and on about trying to figure out which one of the thirty guys they slept with over the past two months is the father of the baby they are currently pregnant with. No more listening to crazy people scream at each other all night because the lions lost. No more listening to crazy people yell at each other all night because the lions won.

No more putting up with managers who purposely change employees schedules at the last minute and not bother telling them just so they can write them up as late or a no call no show.

No more listening to crazy over-religious people. Not regular religious people, I mean the ones who are true nut-casses. I am atheist, and never told anyone I worked with that because I know I would have been beaten to death in the parking lot if I had.

For a dam year and a half I worked for this horrid company at this horrid nightmare of a store. This store that ignores worker safety issues and invents every reason possible to give the lowest raises possible.

I knew if I stuck with it and studied hard my schooling would pay off. My last shift ended at 7am this morning and as of that time I am no longer employed with Walmart and I could not be fucking happier. Not every manager was bad, and not all the employees there were either, just too many. Fuck Walmart, and any who read this still working with them you have my sympathy. At the very least I hope your store is better then mine was.
