We’d like to invite you to become a part of Dark Bunny Sauces.
Yes, you read that correctly.

Allow me to explain:
Almost 3 years ago I decided to try my hand at selling some of the sauces I made. I won’t get into the long story that has been repeated over and over but suffice it to say that following that very first time, I knew that this was something that I wanted to do. I absolutely enjoy both making the sauce, and I love talking with people and figuring out which ones would be best for them.
At the time that I started, I was working for a large corporation. As seems to happen with large corporations, they closed my entire department suddenly a couple of years ago. And we made due on a part time job, and my severance package (and then EI). The last few months have been particularly rough as though the sauces mostly pay for themselves, there is no way I can grow the business. But this is something that I desperately want to do.
So I am offering folks an opportunity.

As of today, I am launching a Patreon for Dark Bunny Sauces.

I am doing this for two reasons. The first is purely selfish: I would like to eat better.
The second reason is that I want to be able to expand the business and bring more sauces to more people. I want to be able to afford trips to conventions and other events. I had started with a Gofundme back at the beginning, and there is still a GoFundMe campaign up and running if all you would like to do is a one-time donation to Dark Bunny Sauces. I also have a Ko-fi account set up, so if you'd rather just "buy me a coffee" please, feel free!
I wanted to both get and give a little more.

Our Patreon, as expected, has various levels, with various increasing incentives that range from a simple public thank you, to discounts and physical stuff, all the way up to being involved in some of the sauce. I won’t go into all of the details about each level here – that’s what the Patreon page is for – but suffice it to say that by pledging to help support the company you will be a part of it. Every dollar raised means that DBS can be more secure in moving onward and upward.

Also, this will allow me to eat more than rice with my sauce on it 😊 I may even be able to add beef!

So please, if you really like what we do, if you enjoy the sauces and things we make, and want to see Dark Bunny Sauces in more places (like conventions, stores, or your fridge), consider becoming one of our patrons.
