Honestly? Just someone inspired to stick around by the creativity of others and how the people here accept those around them, and find joy in the worlds and characters they've created and shared with the world. No less than that.
Though I won't lie, the explicit artworks are nice too.

First Journal out of ???: Word Vomit/Outlining of Purpose (G)
So, I'm very well aware that I'm most likely just screaming into the void here, so to speak, but I'd thought I would type this out as my very first journal anyway. Just so I can put this out there, even if no one else sees it, that's not a concern.
For a while now, at least several months to a year, I've had my own ideas and concepts for a story I want to write. Started out as daydreaming, fantasising about scenes with characters of my own and existing ones, but as time went on, the notion of actually WRITING something of my own, creating something I can properly call entirely mine and it being completely my original work, characters and all, was something I actually felt I wanted to do. And I've never really been a creative person either, so that feeling was very foreign to me, but not at all unwelcome.
And until very recently, it was going to be a very personal passion project. Something that I would either write down or have saved in my own computer for my eyes (and probably close friends) only. But after seeing the stories that have been made on here, the characters and collaborations made between friends and witnessing glimpses of the bonds made over the years and years that this site has existed for?
I am inspired to add to the library of creative freedom that is this site, and all the stories and artwork that is present within it.
I see people who aren't afraid to be themselves, who are comfortable with who they are and couldn't give less of a fuck what other people would think of them and what they're into, and I respect that more than ever considering the state that the world is in right now. That drives me. That makes me, as a person who has almost never drawn in their whole life, want to pick up a pencil and LEARN to do just that. Even if it takes years just to pull off decently.
I don't know all the details and threads for my story yet. I have no idea how long it would take for me to actually post something on here for others to see. Hell, I'm not even sure if what I have in mind will turn out GOOD (I certainly fucking hope it would, it means a great deal to me to lay it out properly). But it would be my own creation. My own mark to leave upon the realm of creative freedom, and potential inspiration for someone else to create their own world, as I have like many others, and molding it to their heart's satisfaction. So they can have somewhere else to get lost in as opposed to simply the real world alone.
It would be my way of channeling the thoughts, emotions, and memories I hold dear into one tangible, coherent, and beautiful world that pays tribute to the experiences I've had in fiction, and that others could also get lost in and adore as I have. And that, in itself, would be enough for me.
So... yeah. Sorry for the text walls. Brevity is not my strong suit.
