To clear one thing up: I am only a quarter Finnish and live in the USA. My grandfather was born in the US to two Finnish immigrants, but I have visited Finland several times. I don't know much Finnish, only what my relatives told me were important to know conversationally: Minä olen suomalainen kettu" - "Turpa kiinni" and "Hei hei, paskapää!
I am currently a college student studying metalsmithing and majoring in geology. Essentially, I get graded on how well I can hit things with hammers. When I'm not working my fingers to the bone figuratively in class, I enjoy working them to the bone literally by creating things. I make all sorts of things, costumes, fursuits, suits of armor, you name it. The ability to see a movie and then make say, a suit of armor from it come to live is one of my greatest pleasures. Unfortunately, between making various costumes and schoolwork, I have not been able to do much drawing or painting. As a result, this gallery does not get updated anywhere near as much as I would like. It doesn't help that many of my projects can take months to complete.

I must admit, I'm really bad at social networking. I apologize in advance for not leaving comments, I just often don't know what to say. It feels awkward to leave comments or shouts to people I don't really know well. When I watch you and don't comment, I'm not trying to be creepy or blow you off, I just don't really know what else to say.
