I just made a terrible experience... or noticed something many times in a short period.
I have definitely noticed that a lot of furries, and also non furries, are acting very respectless, without any understanding and completely without any empathy, towards completely different people/beings/whateveryouare.
Seeing friends and even patients of mine getting hurt, insulted and treated like the biggest assh**** on earth... although they are just being nice, caring and being honest. I've noticed people getting treated like this a lot, it led to many suicide attempts within my own list of patients. And also a close friend of mine... who killed himself under social pressure and rejection by everyone he loved and liked.
And now a friend, who has a completely different set of conditions, a uniquely different psyche and personality, she got hurt, treated unfair and without any believe in her words or feelings... in a way I never experienced. It hurts to see that, seeing someone who is just different, loving, caring and natural... just too nice for this world, too friendly for herself -- and then getting treated like a fantasizing monster or maniac. How can people ne so rude?
As a psychologist, I am terrified by those experienced. And especially furries are the most hurting ones, even though this fandom should be about friendship and coming together.
Bad social behavior and disagreeing is a common thing amongst mankind, but why does disagreeing always lead to offending someone or missunderstanding everything the 'different' person says?
I've experienced a lot in my many years of therapizing all kinds of people... but this... especially when people call themselves good friends... THIS is terrifying!

I can't understand this, but... I had to write this. I really got angry today, because this happened way too many times. And that to people who never deserved any of this.
