Context is that in the future, the human world got destroyed by the legendaries Pokemon lead by Arceus because of our technology going too far, kinda like nature taking its revenge something.
Now we follow Vivi and her family, humans living in tiny cities in the middle of a dangerous world where nature took back its rights and giant Pokemon are everywhere, attacking humans or, rarely, befriending them.
