I don’t talk about it much, but i do keep up with James Cameron’s avatar series.
Recently a group of fans has made a fanmade Snow Navi with European features, icy white skin, model thin bodies, and European metal accessories while saying they’re based off polar bears.
Noooooooooooo, noooo thats not how a Snow Navi would look.

The different types of Navi are very BLATANTLY based off different indigenous/black cultures. So “Snow” Navi would not be rail thin white models.

They would look like the Inuit, Yupik, Aleut, Athabascans and Iñupiat peoples, while dressing like they do And if your allegedly basing them off Polar Bears they would not be thin or crystal white. Polar bears have thick fat for insulation, with black skin and white fur for camouflage.

A proper snow navi would probably be chonky/chubby all over, with either black skin and white hair, or just straight up covered in white fur all over their bodies.

Someone else came up with a variant of that idea but based off Leopard Deals thats really cool.

Besides they’re also missing out on the idea of arctic polar bear/reindeer like steeds.
