I’ve had this idea bouncing around in my brain bits this morning because of a fantastic post on Twitter—and I may actually have a furry OC proper coming around the bend?

I don’t have a name for her yet, but she’s a Honduran white bat—famed for chewing up leaves to make little tents to stay dry underneath. I’ve slowly been getting into transformation as a concept and I thought, what about a clothes designer who purposefully catered to clients who change size a lot? So then I started thinking of creatures who could be possible weavers, and those little dudes popped into my head!

I was thinking of her like a stereotypical little Parisian designer, accent and beret and all, but sweet, goofy, and teeny tiny (actually bat-sized). She’s made her indie clothing shop out of a huge hollowed-out tree trunk and made a roof out of leaves she’s chewed up herself. Her clothing is all natural; she chews up special plants for the fibers and then weaves them into transformation-friendly clothing in many extravagant colors! She’s all about finding who you really are, what about you DOESN’T change through your forms. What can she emphasize about the core of you?

She prefers you step inside in your smallest form available—but if not, that’s alright, this bat’s willing to do a house call! Just have somewhere to roost, please. Talking right-side up for too long is vertigo-inducing.

I’m planning on fleshing out the (literally) little lady some more and finding someone to help me design her proper, but I was too excited about the idea not to share her.

Any help with a name is sincerely appreciated. I am horrible with them. 😬
