(here I wish to give you a look into my open species and at this time it my be a little bare bones but I will be adding more overtime. Thank you and enjoy)

What is a rubber-hided dragon? They are a Anthropomorphic, roughly human in height, Smooth-scaled with no banding dragons. There name sake comes from their naturally elastic-like skin/hides which gives them the ability to inflate, stretch and semi-contort themselves. You can tell what kind of rubber-hide is which due to their colors(which always have white underbellies) and features. The shape of their tail tips and horns varies. Also they are about to inflate different parts of their bodies at will. Also you might think that a simple little needle could pop them but their hides are strong enough to not be popped. it would take a lot of force and its not a true pop, more of a deflation till the hole is healed


So far here is a list of different types of rubber-hides(more may be added in the future)

Air Rubber-hides: Blimpdrakes


Colors and features: Yellowish and have wings on their backs

Blimpdrakes gained their nickname from their ability to inflate themselves to the point they can float and act as blimps which they will use to transport goods and passengers. Needing to be light in weight their foods are known to be airy and filling so they will not be weighed down when in their inflated states. Seeing they are able to inflate with air they can use their blown up bodies as from of defense simulator to a pufferfish and able to blow gales of wind out. Their are also known to be easy going

Habitat: Blimpdrakes can be found in meadows with their homes being supported on small floating isles

Water rubber-hides: Waterskins

Colors and features: Greenish and have no wings instead have webbed hands, feet and tails with stronger legs

Waterskins are known for their ability intake massive amounts of water and still being able to move with little to no issue from the extra weight do to their stronger stature. They can use this ability to transport water from place to place to irrigate parts of their home as well as using their heavy water filled bodies as a form of defense. Unlike their Air counterparts they are able to be more offensive with body slams and spitting jets of high pressured water. They are al They are also known for their protective but yet friendly nature

Habitat: Waterskins live in arid desert oasis and seasides. they make their homes around springs and will transport water from settlement to settlement. helping water plants, crops and wells full. They are also known for the nimble swimming even when full of water.

Fire rubber-hides: Heatwyrms


Colors and features: Reddish and Having no wings


Heatwyrms are known for their ability to withstand extreme heat and being able to inflate with a form of flammable gas which they can use to breath fire as well as float if need be. Their are known to be able to consume lava and use the molten rock as building material. They are also known for their short tempers and at times letting out massive explosions when being attacked by letting out all their flammable gas in one massive breath of fire

Habitat: Heatwyrms are known to live in volcanic areas

Earth Rubber-hides: Mudgons

Color and features: Brownish and like Heatwyrms does have wings

Mudgons are known for being able to create a form of mud-like compost in their guts which they use to grow crops and maintain plant health from dead plant matter. At times the composting prose can guess some bloating which gives them a bloated look. Strong and hardy they are known for helping supply food to the other rubber-hides

Ice rubber-hides: Slushguts

Colors and features: Light blueish with wings on their backs like Blimpdrakes


Slushguts are known for their ability to creature and store ice inside themselves which gives them a heavy and study defense. they can break the ice down to make themselves more malleable and flexible which is common place for them when not being attacked. With this slush and ice they can make, their homes are almost made completely made of ice and snow along with this artistic view of their craft. They are also known to have a sense of pride
