I guess the best thing to do here would be to I have always been interested in transformations; I remember one of my first fascinations was seeing Scorpion in the Mortal Kombat movie have the serpent come out of his hand. I recall imaging in detail what that would feel like if a serpent came out of my hand as the skin on my palm separates as the head of the snake emerges, sliding itself along the opening. Also I absolutely loved when Peter was turned into a monkey in Jumanji and in Goosebumps when the Mask merges onto the skin of its victims. In high school, our drawing teacher had us draw transformations in stages. I created a piece of a Rhino transforming into a Hummingbird. Maybe I will upload that here some day. Unfortunately I have not done much art since HS.

Then I found Transfur several years ago (4-5 roughly) and was opened to a whole new world. Prior to that I was into the typical male teen obsessions. I think my favorite at that time was being captured by aliens or an Egyptian queen and having some sort of chemicals applied to my gentiles causing ridiculous growth. Then I found :Swatcher:'s entries at Transfur and found a link in his profile to FA. This opened up a whole new world of possibilities for my mind.

I would not say that there is one fascination or another that I typically prefer at this point. I really enjoy quality art and writing that depicts how a transformation would feel for the individual. Anything animal, latex, inflation, possession, chemical, realism (photoshop). Any species, object, or whatever I just enjoy the process.

All of this has been very therapeutic for me considering the crazy bullshit my family has been through in the divorce of my parents. I've always tend to be more introverted (but not awkward in any way). I really enjoy myself but have a difficult time expressing myself and opening up. Heck, even just making this post, I feel, is a huge step forward for me a this juncture. I do hope that one day, someone out there, will help me open up.
