2025 Update - July: Moving to Chile (G)
(Or at least that's the plan.)
I've been debating whether to keep working in here even after graduating, but the job market is on a chokehold from companies who hire architects with very low wages and 95% of the time won't allow them to move up. My city is small so i know almost every workplace is the same. Also, my family has always relied on our extended family to live well enough. I have grown used to just asking for stuff and now that i'm a proper adult i find that it led me to not have a good personal discipline.
For these and other reasons, i have decided to move to Chile. While attending SAFE i also researched about the job market in Santiago and, while it might be the same in certain aspects, it's enormous compared to that of my hometown. Which means i have a lot more chances to grow professionally and thrive in there.
I want this to be a challenge, honestly. And it's starting as one. I have calculated a budget of $2800 to be able to settle for a couple of months while i finish my job hunting (which if i'm lucky i might get within the first two weeks of being there). This means that you guys can ask whenever for commissions, they'll be open for the next three months. I also work on traditional drawing, for which you can ask examples.
