Hello everyone, long time no see!
The TL;DR of this journal is that I've recently returned to art and have made a new account with a stronger focus on my own characters and personal art. Furrtea will remain up, and commissions are not closed permanently. Though I don't currently have plans to reopen, if and when I do, this account will be notified as well.

The long version is this: If you've followed me for a while, you might know that I've been struggling a lot financially due to health issues interfering with my ability to work, leading to my artwork becoming completely consumed with commissions for over 3 years straight. As much as I love drawing other's OCs and I do quite like taking commissions, doing nothing but commissions for so long triggered a very severe bout of art block and burnout. I spent a full year away from art, resulting in a pretty bad relapse in my depression, as art has always been an important coping mechanism for myself.

Because of the overflow of commissions on this account it has become incredibly NSFW forward, especially related to kinks such as watersports. As fun as these nsfw commissions have been, I would also like to draw other things that I personally prefer drawing, such as character design and OCs, and I finally find myself in the financial position to spend time drawing for fun! Therefore, I have made the decision to start a new furaffinity account for my personal art.

For those who are fans of my NSFW, I will still be doing personal kinky or nsfw art on this new account, it just won't be as strong of a focus as it was with this one. To those who enjoyed my art and character designs beyond the commissions, I would be honored if you'd follow me to the new account! And for those who were just here for the commissions, I thank you so much for all of your support, as it has kept me alive and safe throughout the past 4 years as I searched for a job that I could work with my recent degenerative disability. As silly as it is to say, y'all's love of piss has kept a roof over my head and food in my stomach for years, and I am infinitely grateful. In the end, if you don't feel like following me over to this new account, it's been a blast, and I hope you all the best in the future!

This account will remain up, though I won't be very active for the foreseeable future. If I end up opening commissions again, I will likely update y'all over here as well, as I know I've had some semi-recent commission inquiries. All future YCHs and adoptables will go up on my new account.
