Hello All! FurSOM (Southern Maryland) is a group created for Calvert, Charles, St Marys, Dorchester, Wicomico, Worcester, Somerset, and King George Counties.

The main reason I created this group was to get SOMD and East Virginia involved in the events farther north in DC, Baltimore, Delaware, and Philadelphia.
I plan on assisting any Fur that wishes to go to the events up north by arranging carpools, gathering groups (convoy!), arranging stays (if overnight), or other aids you may need. (Whether it be financial or otherwise. )

I myself live in St Marys County and know how hard it is to even look at Furmeet calenders and see great things happening just out of reach. Others are out there and i hope we can all can pitch in.

I also hope that we can grow and have our own FurMeets down here and maybe even make the northern Furmeets want to come to us. ^.^
