I'm a biology student about to graduate. For art, I've been practicing making 3d models. It's really amateurish, but I did make a Gram model this year.

Alrighty.
I really enjoyed that one-day I went to a fur con in 2024 - so I did it again. Stayed for the full Howloween 2025 and had a fantastic, exhausting time. Invited by a friend, roomed with some strangers, and met a lot of cool people. I'm thankful I had a couple people to hang out with; I don't think I would have gotten much out of it on my own.
This week I'm recovering from Vancoufur 2026. Went this time with 3 friends I already knew pretty well. Wonderful. It's really nice to feel belonging somewhere. Unfortunately didn't meet as many new people, but that will be a goal going forward.
The issue is now I'm thinking about getting a fursuit
Furry conventions have been really helpful to make me feel less awkward in my own skin and less anxious about self-expression.
It's like... self-improvement. Woah!
