Be K.I.N.D. during Covid 19
Just thought I'd put my two cents in during this Coronavirus lockdown.
Hmm. So let's see...so far this year things have been pretty rough to say the least. My husband, and I are completely isolated, with the exception that my hubby's still able to work, thankfully. While there's been limited phone and internet access and a restriction from seeing anyone outside our home, we've been making the best out of everything, making lovely homemade meals, engaging in fun indoor activities, doing a little outdoor gardening, etc. Otherwise, I've been offering helping hand to my husband and his family wherever and whenever possible. Both small and large tasks alike.
Admittedly, the whole lockdown didn't seem too bad for us. I knew from the start that it was only going to get worse before it got better, and even reached out to family and friends to express such predictions, as well as words of comfort and support, in which I continue to do as of now. The messages I've received from all my family and friends who are well, have also helped to brighten up my spirits, so keeping in contact with loved ones is an action I would highly recommend if possible. Other than this, I cannot help but wonder to myself when all of this is going to end. I'm hoping by the time Summer comes to a close, things should slowly start getting back to normal, and soon enough everyone will be able to take up employment and their usual lifestyle once more. Which brings me to say, I give my condolences out there to anyone who's family or friends caught the virus, both fatally and otherwise, and also to the ones who've lost their job because of the quarantine.
I suppose, truthfully speaking, there are no appropriate words to express such sentiments and condolences, as this is a very delicate and difficult time for everyone. :c And as such, there is no easy fix. And unfortunately, the only thing I can do is weave words of comfort and support while we're all on lockdown. I hope within the future, when all of this is over eventually, that things will be better, and that we can all as a whole, practice even greater safety precautions.
Both my husband and I are doing are best to look out for our friends and family in any way we can, and we can only hope to help encourage others to do the same. For those of you staying at home, I want to send out a reminder that although it's hard we're actually saving lives this way; and that none of this is forever. Throughout the period of lockdown which started on March 23rd we have been at Level 4 – meaning a Covid19 epidemic is in general circulation, and transmission is high or rising exponentially. Thanks to the hard work and sacrifices of the British people over here in the UK, during this lockdown, we have helped to bring the R level down and we are now in a position to begin moving to Level 3, in steps. In other news, predictions by our UK government and prime minister have been made that public hotels should start reopening by July. I'm hoping that within that length of time, we should start seeing other positive results.
So with all that said regarding the recent developments surrounding the impact of Covid-19 both in the UK and globally, I wanted to let you know that you are all in my thoughts and actions, as myself and my hubby continue to deal with the same unprecedented situation we've never faced before. And I believe through the strength that our communities possess, and through our acts of positivity, kindness passion and support, it will altogether, will help us to keep pushing forward as one.
We're all going through this together, I believe in everyone to make a difference. So remember practice positivity and good health during this difficult time.
Remember to be K.I.N.D. during Coronavirus! :3
K) Keep in touch with family and friends
I) Inform others if you have symptoms
N) Never ignore your health
D) Don't panic. We are in this together
Hope you all have a wonderful day as best as possible, and remember you are loved.
If you've read all of this, then I owe you a coffee. X3 Hehe.
All the best, and (safe) hugs <3
