There's been a lot of mention in the community about this new art gallery site called Itaku so I made myself an Itaku profile today.

Yes, I'm fully aware of why everyone wants to move away from this site and move on to Itaku, and I fully agree! I'm thankfully unaffected by the upcoming policy changes to this site. Does this mean I'm done uploading the art I get here?

🤷 ...I guess so. I wasn't really sharing my stuff here anyways, which I will now get into why I haven't been doing that lately and why I would like to change that with Itaku. I've been skeptical for a long time with uploading content I get with other people/friends as I fear that down the line, relationships change, and things can blow out of proportion with users in the fandom. I've seen it happen many times unfortunately, but I learned this very early on. It made me depressed just seeing art on my profile containing me and someone I no longer associate with, so much so that I didn't want to see any of that art anymore, so I just flat out only ever uploaded images that contained only my OCs here. BUT, maybe that will change as I've been mostly enjoying the art I get with friends. hmmm! I think it would be a good way to get Itaku as a whole going as well.

The only other gallery site I have is Toyhouse, but I barely get any traction there lately. Understandably so since users need to have a registration key from a friend on that site to have an account. Also uploading images there is a pain because they will refuse large image sizes and ask us to manually resize the images to get them under the size limit. It's not worth the trouble lol.

That's all to say here. I will still use this site for contact with artist that will stay here, but besides that, I think I'm done with uploading here. Have a good 6/21 y'all.
