Things are looking up :) (G)
Sooooo things are slowly turning back upright.
I'm having another baby girl!
Was thinking of naming her Josie Lynn.
I got all my baby shower invitations done and hanging on my mailbox ready to be sent out. Plus, I got (mostly) all the decorations. I still have a few decorations left to get, and I'm still working on buying the food for the barbeque. I'm not sure what I'm going to do for the cake yet... I will either make one from scratch, or go halfsies with mum to buy one.
So, yeah. I guess there's still quite a bit of planning left to do! (lol)
Only thing that I'm stressing about at the moment is buying a crib and crib mattress. I can find them for under $200 total (Crib was $89, mattress $40), but even still, I'm veeeeeery tight on the little money I have and it's strictly prioritized for Ellie and food.
Also, I wanted to inform all of you that you're going to see a lot of line arts for a while. When I got my new laptop, I noticed that the coloring on it was a little off. Luckily, my laptop has an HDMI port, so I can plug it into our Visio Flat Screen TV. IT IS FRIKKIN AMAZING. IT IS SO COOL TO DRAW ON SUCH A HUGE SCREEN. I can actually draw without the pain from staring at a computer screen for too long.
I'm still having some romance troubles, but it's (slowly) starting to clear up day by day and I'm getting little-by-little less stressed over it all and moving on. I've been keeping a small green journal next to me, and when I think of something I want to say to him, I write it down. It's highly therapeutic and when I feel it's finished, I plan to go through the journal to construct a letter that will hopefully clear the air between us, and to help him move on. I don't want to just say everything that comes to my mind because some of the things I have to say aren't nice at all. Quite frankly, I think he deserves a well-thought out letter that not only does not attack him personally, it will help him to cope of why we just can't work out.
I mean, I am also doing this for the best interest of my kids.
Together or not, no children like to hear their parents fighting. It's scary and saddening.
So, if I can help him to move on, perhaps we can find a common ground somewhere and maintain a friendly co-parenting relationship that will, in the long run, be healthy for our girls.
So, yeah!
That's my life update. :)
My goal for today is to get a "To-Do" list for the commissions I owe you guys onto my profile.
