TL;DR before I go into why, I'm going to be more or less abandoning this account and reclaiming my old one from ages ago:

So if any of you who are currently following me would like to see new stuff, it'll pop up over there.

Eh. I made this account right after coming out of 2+ year artistic slump, during which I earnestly believed all of the things I was interested in drawing were not worth drawing. Furries were especially on the "FEEL ASHAMED FOR WANTING TO DRAW THIS" list, so I picked a handle as impersonal-sounding as I could manage. I wasn't entirely certain I wasn't just going to draw a handful of things and end up disinterested again, or too ashamed of what I'd done to my art cred to continue. A badass extinct thing about hit the bill, so I went with that.

I probably went a little too impersonal, though, because "gorgonops" is heinously difficult to turn into a decent nickname, and I've just been going by Ruggy again among friends, anyway. (And I realized "art cred" is kind of a stupid idea anyway when it's making you avoid drawing stuff you want to draw. I'm a furfag, might as well deal with it.)

So I might as well switch now, before I have years' worth of work stocked in an account.

I'll check for messages over here on occasion, but I'll be more active on the other account, so that's a safer bet if you want to get in touch with me.

I'm moving over my favorite pieces to my new(old?) account, but I'll be leaving everything up here.
