I'm not leaving the fandom or anything like that. However, I've come to the realization that my entire adult life has been spent, socially and personally at least, revolved around the fandom.

I want to pursue other hobbies and interests that I've had on the backburner for a very long time. I also want to focus on improving my health, both mentally and physically. I want a friend group that isn't only made up of furries. I want to pursue a viable relationship without the dating pool only being within the confines of the fandom. I want to be less angry and frustrated all the time. I want to start going to church again.

Basically, I want a new perspective on life away from the fandom, and to live my life without constantly thinking "what would the fandom think if I did this or said that?" I want a normal, real life outside the fandom! I'm not going anywhere, but I think taking a step back is for the best for now
