Well hey there! Just your local purple husky,
Where to start hmm? Well I live in North Carolina in BFN, population: 5. I go to a local community college and am currently studying Computer Informations Technology. I hope to move to Washington State, Seattle and gain a Tier 2 or 3 in-house tech support job after I obtain my degree. I like R/C vehicles, computers, animals, mountains, and DJing in a game you'll find me in more often than not: Second Life. That was quite an arbitrary list, I know but I guess I just said what came to mind?
My name in real life is Caleb and I am 5'11" with brown eyes and long, brown hair. I would describe myself as skinny but not quite lithe. x3 I attend AnthroCon every year although I am rarely at other cons or meets. I enjoy Thai food, curry with vegetables or tofu probably being one of my favorites! Speaking of vegetables, I am a vegetarian but more so for health reasons then the belief that it "makes me better" then those who eat meat.
I work in Second Life at two clubs: GYC and AnthroXtacy, as a DJ at both and Security at one. I enjoy SL quite a bit and if you ever need to contact me you can probably find me there, username: Grover Constantine.
I have met some wonderful people ISL too and I won't start a list for fear of leaving someone out or sounding pretentious but you all know who you are. Thank you! You guys are what keeps me logging in.
So yea, that's about it! Thanks for viewing my page and catch you around!

ANTHROCON 2011! Stories of a fun time.
Hello all! I hope everyone enjoyed AC 2011. I would say out of the three years I have been, it was probably my favorite - rivaling my first year. I decided to detail some of the good times I had there so I hope you enjoy. :3
First up was the usual trip. Every year my mate and I as well as a few friends all drive up to Pittsburgh from our starting location in North Carolina. This year we happened to be a car short, and had to cram five people into one car. It was a bit cramped, but the company more then made up for it. This particular year the car had myself, my mate (Xariah/xcxeon), Rush, Ethan, and my Canadian friend: Lobo. The whole ride was pretty common place. We all packed in and went off with a bit of excitement in our hearts for the fun weekend. As with the usual seven hour drive, conversation plays a big role in staying entertained. One particular moment cracked me up ridiculously. Perhaps it was simply because he has been my friend since middle school, or maybe just my general excited/silly mood, but Ethan's Will Ferrel impersonation is bar none. A video can be found below:

Thereafter we proceeded to forget that we had accidentally left the GPS set to AVOID toll roads, and had to wander an extra hour through the back roads of West Virginia as a result. It was a frightening, hellish place, and I do not wish to return.
Upon arriving in the concrete jungle of Pittsburgh, I observed the awesome city and took in the surrounding area. We checked into our hotel (carefully not letting on we had brought slightly more people then was technically allowed to the hotel <_<) and made our way to the room. It was a pretty awesome room, complete with mini-fridge and a safe for our electronics. We definitely found it in a better order then we left it. The rest of that night was mostly filled with reminiscing and little else as we had arrived a day before the con began.
We woke up bright and early Friday morning and headed on down to the lines for pre-registration. As was usual with pre-registered con-goers, the line was about a fifteen minute wait. I was a little surprised both by the sheer number of attendees, and the diverse demographic. There was every ethnicity of person here, a wide age group, and even a few mothers/fathers who had brought their kids. It was an awesome semblance of unity and culture, and really showed that the fandom had room for everyone.
That evening I met up with a long time friend from SL. You will be hearing about quite a few people from SL seeing as that is where I do a lot of socializing. x3 My friend was Mouse (Liandi Bashly to all you SL players). She was a cute girl with a bouncy, bubbly personality and bright red hair. We had lots of fun finally meeting and hanging out. :3
Saturday morning rolled around, and the second day of the con began early as well. Me and the group walked down to a restaurant down the corner for some breakfast. The place is called Au Bon Paine if memory serves, and it is a block or so from the Omni where we were staying. It's a very nice corner cafe and I happily dug into half of an egg sandwich. We strolled down to the con center and dicked around for a bit! More good times with friends ensued. Now my memory gets a bit fuzzy here but at some point I met Naz Starfall (SL Name). I talked with him a good bit in front of the Omni, and offered a few gentle hugs. :3
Later in the day I had the chance to meet someone I have known for about 4 years and hold dear. Cedrick, Cedrick - we need to hang out again soon! :D Cedrick Sharple has been a good friend to me on SL for a long time, but unfortunately we had never had a chance to meet in real life. I found out just a bit before AC that he was going to be there and I was ecstatic. We all sat down at a great restaurant named "August Henry's" and he treated us to an awesome meal. It was lots of fun hanging out with him, and I hope to see him again soon.
Towards that evening I met up with Keesar Cushing (SL Name) as well. He has been a good friend to me and works over at AnthroXtacy on SL. He was an absolute blast to be around, and quite hilarious. We re-united with Mouse who wanted to meet him and went strolling through the con center before he needed to be at the Metal Furs panel at midnight. I watched him mingle with people in his super fuzzy wolf fursuit and laughed. Once we had dropped Keesar off at the Metal Furs panel, I decided to return to the hotel room with our group.
Upon getting back to the hotel room, everyone was in a bit of a silly and happy mood. We all started rough housing a bit. A friend of mine whom goes by Silentwulf attempted to pull me off of one of the beds in the room and accidentally slipped, knocking his head against the corner of the nearby wall. I heard him remark he had bumped his head, but thought he was alright and went to talk to Xar for a minute. When I turned around, I realized there was something wrong as he was still lying on the ground. I won't go into super-detail as I respect his privacy but it was a scary night for a while. It had a silver-lining though - a once in a lifetime picture:

Yes, that is a paramedic posing for a photoshoot. To anyone who is wondering as well - he was fine and discharged that night much to my relief.
Thereafter I decided to cool off with a few drinks. I headed down to the fish market and ordered a blue motorcycle. From what I am told.. a blue motorcycle is similar to a long island iced tea. Except for the iced tea part however, it is filled with Blue Caraco. Normally alcohol doesn't touch me, but I had forgotten that I had not eaten for the previous eight hours. About half way through my drinking session, I noticed the world was starting to shift a bit. xD I had always been the designated driver back home, and decided I wanted to branch out a bit out of curiosity. I re-united with Mouse that night, and had TONS of fun in my newly found state of mind.
The next morning was a new experience as well...but not one of the pleasant kind. I got up and stumbled down stairs for a drink from Starbucks, hoping it would clear my mind and stomach. To no avail, I ended up going back to the room and sleeping a bit longer. I woke up to find I had wasted away most of the final day of AnthroCon! I didn't want to waste anymore time. I chugged some water which seemed to help, and made my way back to the con center alongside Rush and Naz I think! My memory is pretty terrible at times. I re-united with Mouse again, and watched the fursuit dancing competition for a bit. It was amazing! All the dancers did a wonderful job, and one of the judges was a fursuiter himself whom was acting in character. He had a very cute personality and positive mentality. I left shortly after that to see what Xariah was up to. He was down in the dealer's den purchasing wonderful art and bondage gear. (<_<) Most of that day involved last-minute purchases and since I don't shop a whole ton, I was a bit bored.
Later that evening however, we all regrouped at the fish market for one final night of fun before we had to leave. We had alcohol, had fun, and said our farewells to AnthroCon 2011.
I am sure there are things or people I may have missed, and it is not intentional. My memory is quite terrible sometimes, and I tend to get things mixed up. Aside from that though, I had a wonderful year at AC 2011 full of new experiences and friends.
