Those six words summed up the first thoughts I had about Furloween when I awoke from my bed on monday.

Now for a blow-by-blow:
I woke up at noon-thirty friday, went to Mickey-D's with my bro, google-mapped a route(took almost an hour, seeng as i was trying to take OBT up as far as possible, and stay on local roads exclusively{baad idea in retrospect}), wrote down the relevant info on an envelope which held the money for the door fee, got ready for work, punched in at 4:30, sat around being bored and excited at the same time for about two hours, worked through a rush until about 9:00, got sent home at the ass-end of midnight, shaved(yes, down there as well ) and took a shower, hopped online for about three hours, could not fall asleep(not even after meditating{or even, y'know, pawing off } for thirty minutes{each }), packed a day-pack(with an extra shirt{to change into there; I wasn't planning on staying}, my netbook{goes almost everywhere with me}, a few select WIP songs I had on pieces of scrap-paper{bit of a story, more on that later}, an 8-gig flash drive with all of my music on it{double my comp's capacity! }, the money envelope{soo organized }, and my green wings{got 'em at this last MegaCon, planning on getting a bigger set next time!}), attached a few pins to said backpack to help Identify it to lost-n-found(in case I lost it, duh), set my clothes out, turned off the light in my room, heard my mom in the kitchen half an hour later(about 7:45am, and yes, I still live with my mom), got dressed and said good morning(a bit odd for her, as recently I had been in the habit of getting up closer to the crack of noon, rather than the crack of dawn!), ate a bowl of cereal(honey bunches of oats, mmmm yummy!), snuck a can of soda(I knew at this point that today was going to be one of those rare marathon consciousness episodes I get, and as I had a party to get to, I wanted to be alert as long as possible{conscious=/=alert, believe me}), checked over everything in my room, shaved my face(again!), went to look for something to do while I waited, started drying the dishes from last night's dinner(did this off and on while pacing about the house, actually a good way to kill an hour's time!), went back to my room and put on my headphones(I meditated again at this point, another thirty minutes gone), laid down on my bed(still in my clothes) because my back kinda hurt(I was also feeling a tiny bit drowsy, so I put my music player to the fast-n-heavy playlist; closed my eyes, but retained consciousness throughout!), got up very refreshed after that 30-minute recharge session, listened to some more music, replaced the AAA battery in the player and threw another into the backpack, pulled out the laptop and logged into FA(sent a note with my condolences to  syrae-universe, the person who I mentioned was unable to pick me up{she had family drama to deal with, and still does, it seems}), put everything away and triple-checked it all again, walked out of the house after explaining(not for the first time, nor in very great detail) where I would be and what I was doing(my explaination went something like this; I had been invited by some internet buddies to an early halloween party, held at an Elk's Lodge and organized online), started up Lucille(my truck, for those of you that don't know), drove to the nearby Publix plaza, put thirty dollars in her tank, put some Tijiuana Flats tacos into mine(with plenty of Dr. Pepper), headed out on the highway(looking for adventure)(sorry, couldn't help it!), popped the 'phones on again, drove(and drove{and drove!}), kinda missed my turn(I think), stopped(baad ideaaa{remember, side street in the middle of Orlando}) and asked six nice gentlemen of color for directions, gave them a ten for their trouble(with a mention of buying a 6-pack), drove down Church Street(wow, what an interesting place), came across one of the streets on my original directions(was thanking the Powers that I was at least in the general vicinity at this point), drove into a nicer neighborhood and slowed down to ask for directions again(this time from an older gentleman, walking his dog; he was most encouraging!), drove for a bit more(I almost forgot, a little bit before I turned off of OBT, Lucille had started to heat up a tiny bit more than usual, and at this point I was whispering one of Han's famous lines from A New Hope{come on, baby, hold together}), Finally saw those most satisfying of letters(BPOE) and pulled into a convenient parking space, I looked at my watch, and it read: 1:58pm, Sat, 10/24

Good night for now, more later(and I'm sorry about what is effectively one huuge run-on sentence, but that is truly the best written way I could think of to convey how my mind was working at the time{and indeed, a lot of the time I'm awake})
