Damn, I can't believe it's been that long since I've been on this site, since I've be actively watching some of my fav artist work and dropping $$$ for commissions, sometimes fighting for an open slot, lol!

But in the past few years, a lot has happened, some good some bad. I've lost more family members than I'd ever like to think about, the most recent is my grandmother this past September and my grandfather two years before her. They have hit me the hardest as I grew up living in their house and stayed with them for about 3 years when I moved back to NY for a little while.

But on the positive side, I've earn one degree, I'm in the process of finishing another (Spring 2020). Through my Uni I've gained the most opportunities and am so blessed for them. I've become a writer at my Uni's independently student-run newspaper, become an Editor there and I've earned awards that allow me to say "I'm a multi-award winning journalist in the southeast" some of the work I've written was picked up by The New York Times...so yeah I'm super proud. I've also earned internships at some of the top news orgs in the country and even with the current pandemic, I don't see myself slowing down any time soon!

But all that aside, I'm back and I look forward to reaching out to my favs again =3
