About The Artist:

Hi! I go by 'Honey Jaws' but feel free to shorten my name however you like.
I'm a 22 yr old from Florida, and I'm a hobby artist who's been chicken scratching out drawings since 1st grade.

I'm autistic and have always hyper-fixated on horses since as long as I can remember, so naturally I started out drawing horses all day, everyday.
I started to push my boundaries of art in 5th or 6th grade when I decided to learn to draw humans, due to my love of creepypasta's and The Walking Dead during that time, as well as various musicians who I wanted to draw fanart of.

Today, my drawings consist of various animals, human/oids, dragons/fantasy, original characters as well as fanart. My compositions range anywhere from bright or pastel colors and 'kawaii' themes to dark colors and horror-esc themes, but when it comes to posting art, I like to keep those contrasting themes separate and stick to sharing the more lighthearted pieces.

I started posting my art online, as well as digital art as a whole, in 6th grade on Deviantart. I've also tested out Instagram and Tumblr, but never touched Twitter. The only sites I will be posting my art will be here, Side7 (for portfolio type pieces), and Toyhouse for my OC's. My old deviantart (@/RatTea) will stay up for stock/lineart/reference resources, but I will no longer be posting on there.

- I don't own a horse unfortunately

- But I've almost owned every pet known to man other than a horse or a dog..

- I worked in an 'exotic' petstore for 3 years alongside some very.. questionable pets. 20ft 250lb Burmese python, anyone? 😶 and monkeys. You DON'T want them as pets.

- I used to breed rats and I've owned probably over 50 of them. They're my second favorite animal.

- I've also kept many fish tanks, Arachnids/Insects and reptiles. My weirdest pets where my colony of Discoid roaches and 10+ species of Isopod that I bred. Oh and a 'toebiter' waterbug named Jimmy. RIP Jimmy.

- My non-art hobbies include collecting model horses, gaming (minecraft, RDRO, NFSheat, Forza..), Gardening, Cooking/Baking, Cars and I guess you could say Music and Festivals/Concerts.

I'm like an onion, I have way too many layers to me.
I think when God created me, he meant to just sprinkle some variety into my personality, but then dropped the whole jar into the soup..
