Lake District holiday finished and heading home in the AM
4 months ago
Hi everyone!
Nearly a year since my last journal, I really need to work on being more active rather than lurking in the background. This week was nice as a holiday, only had one day of rain this week then sunny days, today and tomorrow are meant to be rather hot here in the UK so I didn't do the Scafell Pike walk as I was planning to today.
I did however manage to tackle The Old Man Of Coniston and Grisedale Pike as completed fell walks, I tried to do Redpike and High Stile last Sunday but got rained off before I could reach the final summit path. The fell walks I managed to do have shown me that my fitness HAS improved, but I still have a ways to go yet!
But back home tomorrow and returning to work on Monday followed by the gym, but I have been fiddling with an Ordnance Survey app on my phone and seeing some of the lovely comments from the images I've been uploading this week has got me thinking I should really take the time during the weekends to get out and about around the area I live and/or take a mini holiday now and then and explore some more of the South West for photography holidays.
But this week has been fun and much needed, thanks again to all of those that have just started watching me, along to those that are still watching, faving and commenting on my uploads. Its very much appreciated and gives me the motivation to keep uploading.
Thats pretty much all for now, I need to finish packing my gear then early night as I intend on hitting the road by 5am to get ahead of the rush hour traffic before the M6 and M5 turn into carparks!
Take care all *hugs*
