I never haunted BBS'es, but thought IRC was super-fancy when it became available to me. I have about 12 years of traditional art techniques under my belt, but I count as a hobby artist who was just lucky enough to watch Kacey Miyagami going at it with her colored pencils and watercolors one particular time at a furry conference.

When I started working fulltime about 3-4 years before covid, I got so busy with life that I couldn't keep up an online presence.

I do digital artwork, too, and it's really been doing furry commissions that got me to continue doing art through the years. It's a social engagement for me, and I love bantering back and forth. I'm not so much a furry as plenty comfortable among furs, because it's a chill and diverse group of people, you know?
