Continuing with my scattered thoughts from https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/11352277/, I need to put this somewhere to motivate me or else I will just keep this in my head spinning around.

I've been following MLP content for years and save for Elden Ring/Souls stuff nothing else has kept my interest like these franchises, some other interest me but not to the degree of wanting to make stuff like fanfics, drawings or other fan content.

In that vein I continue trying yo figure things for a story with my OCs.

Is funny how for some characters things seem so clear and others i struggle mainly because my favorite characters have some design elements that I find very appealing but also make them very similar to each other, following that train of thought, maybe it will be easier if I reduce some of the characters involvement or even remove them from story.

Some things to keep:

- Nova, Polaris and to lesser degree Caelus, need to remain, I have some more details about them than for Nebula, Nyx and Blaze.

- Nebula may need to remain to connect Caelus predicament to Polaris so the stories are not fully independent.

- That means I need to figure out what to do with Blaze but I have some ideas.

Now most of this does not make sense on its own, so maybe i should better start with a general Idea on the setting for that I have some things I have more or less clear.

- My version of Equestria is divided in 2 like the roman empire, that would be East and West Equestria.

- I want to involve the comics faction of Thrace, they seemed interesting as antagonists.

- In the movie the storm king is defeated but I don't remember if anything was done with the storm army after, involving remnants of the storm king army in a conflict could be interesting.

- An invasion story can give plenty of choices for scenarios like the ones I often choose for my commissions.

- Stories of my multiple characters can happen in this setting and be affected by the wider invasion.

- I have not read Fallout Equestria or played the Equestria at war mod, I am only very vaguely familiar with those settings, enough to know that they touch similar settings or ideas but any similarity with what I write is most likely just coincidence, what I know is mostly just for how much fanart exists of those settings.

- I still don't know to what degree the MLP canon affects my AU, I keep zig-zaging around the matter, do I want this happen after but close to the end of the show? do I want my characters to be directly related to the main cast? this one specially bothers me because some of my OCs existed in my mind for long before, but the designs themselves are adopts from grids, customs or premade, so they are inevitably based on the canon characters.

I don´t know how far I will get into this fanfic, I dont have much free time, specially alone free time, still want to try doing something with all these.
