Born out of oppression and occupation, my sons and daughters rose up one easter morn, to claim my freedom, on that day in 1916 my true birth-date is december 1922. We would not see true freedom, for 6 of my sons now lie in chains, under rule of these strangers. They faught and they died for 60 years in attempts to join my other 26 children, for freedom and glory, Tiocfaidh ár lá.
