Warrior Cats 20 questions
wow, unbelievable that I'm such an addict to the series that I'm using my first journal here to talk about Warrior Cats
Anyway, just found out there's a fin, like, the 20 questions, and I figured I'd tackle them: http://pm1.narvii.com/6294/23caa348.....b61ddbd_hq.jpg
so here I go
1: whale that's easy, a friend of mine mentioned the series, and I figured I should give it a try. I bought a used copy of Into the Wild and started reading, easily said I was immediately sold, still reading to the day (of course that was only a year ago)
2: yeah... that's either Omen of the Stars or Dawn of the Clans, probably the latter. Every arc has it's own feel to it due to how it's written, and I just like one more than another, especially those two I adored. In the end I think Dawn of the Clans wins, because it shows the actual start, how everyfin came to be, and even though it's so far in the past, it's still literally directly connected to the previously written arc (Omen of the Stars) and I reely loved its characters
3: hm... I'm guessing that would be Path of the Stars, because it's basically the conclusion to how it started, the end of the beginning and the beginning of the everlasting, you know?
4: Tallstar's Revenge, as mentioned later, I find Tallstar, or Talltail during most of the book, an amazing and relatable cat, especially since he was clearly meant to be gay with Jake, and they're just so sweet together, I'm not one fur shipping myshellf at all, honestly! but them, they're just so, Ngh
5: Riverclan, I've had a lot of doubt between Shadowclan and Riverclan, especially since I love the water and darkness, because I'm an edgy shit, but Dawn of the Clans once again helped, as River Ripple was just such an amazing character, always calm and nice, helping others when needed, watching from afar to make shore he wasn't siding with anyone, and then supporting the mountain cats when necessary, he's amazing
6: Yellowfang, she's part of why I was immediately attached to the series, and I always admired and loved her rough and snappy behaviour that was always just a classy special kind of way to steer her clanmates in the right direction, shore Jayfeather acts that way too, but a lot of the time he's just actually moping around, he always just seemed to snap at everyone, shore he was blind and treated diffurently fur it, but that's logical, cats can't imagine what it's like not to have sight, fur instance when he was still Brightheart's apprentice and Longtail taught him how to function without eyes, he was just rude and sarcastic because he already knew it, he COULD have just told him so, after all, as he said, he was born that way and was used to it unlike Longtail, I'm shore if he'd just been calm and told him that Longtail would've understood
7: Darkstripe, sneaky piece of shit
8: I've always adored the way Cloudtail looks, even if he doesn't believe in Starclan
9: unsurprisingly, Tallstar, I've always liked how he prefered keeping his cats safe over pride, and he's nice, considerate, and fucking unkillable, I've always referred to him as Tallstar the unkillable, because no matter how many cave-ins, attacks from other clans, being driven out, hunger, starvation due to twolegs and treks through mountains and shit, that fucker does not die, only when he's done his job, he dies, of age, he doesn't even get killed or anyfin like almost everyone else, fucker dies of age, he's so amazing
10: Scourge, he's proper evil, no Starclan, no nofin, just fucking killing all ya mothafuckas
11: Mothwing, no of course not, yeah she is awesome too, but no Yellowfang of course
12: I'm not in touch with the fandom a whole lot, but I'd say Ivypool, she seems to be nearly praised straight into Starclan as far as I sea, and while she is awesome, she is not THAT awesome
13: I think I'm going with Mothwing fur this one anyway, because she's a medicine cat who doesn't believe in Starclan, true, but she fully cares about her clanmates either way, and whose fault is it she doesn't believe in Starclan? Hawkfrost
14: does Ferncloud count? if so, Ferncloud, I love how she's just almost a breeding machine, always bearing Dustpelt's kits
15: no surprise, Tallstar and Jake, even if not entirely canon, it's definitely meant to be canon, they clearly wrote it to be that way, so it counts to me, and they're just so adorable together, supporting each other and stuff <3
16: Leafpool and Crowfeather, I personally always felt as if Leafpool loved Mothwing, and when, after finding him an annoying shit fur so long, she suddenly, poof, falls in love with Crowfeather so heavily, no thanks
17: Fireheart/star and Onewhisker, I just reely like their casual friendship that just carries over the border without giving a shit, even so that Tallstar thought it would make the ThunderWind bond last, but no, Onestar's a prick
18: ehm, that's hard, there are few moments that were incredibly memorable to me myshellf, but if I have to choose, probably Talltail and Sparrow at the road
19: whale, fur starters, I'm a reel sucker fur tragedy in stories, throughout the entire series I've cried, a lot, and even despite 5 important character deaths in a row in the great Dark Forest battle, there is the death of a single cat that made me cry way more, and that's Gray Wing, the way it was portrayed with the family, just got his kit back, the first time I read the death of a cat through the eyes of the dying cat, his final words, it all just... even thinking about it now I almost tear up again....
20: the final battle against the Dark Forest cats, it's probably an answer often given, but the message and all is just great, first of all the fact that it's all just because the cats can't let go of the past as Rock mentioned, and then it's just the 4 clans united to fight against a common enemy, of course Bloodclan was the same, but not entirely, as now there was also Midnight and Starclan fighting at their side, and even the ancient cats which makes a direct link to the first series, it was just so badass!
whale, these are my answers... so yeah
