I didn't think I would have to write this given how much weight I expect common sense to carry, but here we are:

Please, don't join my Discord just to be a pest to my members by trying to push your art on them. This is terrible practice, and I instructed them to tell me whenever this happens, since this will grant the perpetrator an instant and permanent ban. I have absolutely nothing against other artists - on the contrary, if you come and talk to me directly, ask for help, I will happily help you out on finding your market. What I won't tolerate is subrepticiously joining in just to start pestering people directly. This is a breach of their peace and quiet, and a breach to my hospitality.

And quite frankly, what type of message does this send others, that you need to act like a door to door knife set salesperson?

Recently, I had to ban a couple of people that joined my server JUST to do that, and it's really a shame. If you need help finding clients with which to network, ASK. Don't just sneak into someone else's already established outlet and try to peddle YOUR crap in it.
