has a heart of gold, and will care for anyone and anything. even if they just met. hes always down to earth and tries to see things from both sides of the story. this also happens to be one of his down flaws, as he has a tendency to over think things and gets all worked up over worrying about something that really isnt his business. is occasionally overly honest and its gotten him into trouble from time to time. (accidentally lost a friend from it).

He is a a big time motor head and almost always talks about cars, but when he isnt its about magic or video games. right after high school he attended a sorcery school for about two years where he practiced in transformation magic and some self defense spells. before opportunity knocked and he left to become a full time mechanic. where he goes about his days taking his human form to fit in. why? well he had to follow the job lead, and when he herd where it was taking him, a town that had a reputation for having an anti fur cult, he thought it best to hide himself.

his hobbies include playing video games, dancing, working on cars, studying magic, reading and enjoying some time alone at the lake where he can sit and relax without anyone around for miles. his best friend and companion is Rusty, a feral dog he found abandoned on the side of the road. with a little help from his studys from magic school, Rusty often takes his turn as an anthro and joins James for a few drinks at the bar. a big time fan of sci-fi stories, he has managed to form quite the collection of books, and has even tried using his knowledge of magic to see if he can make some fictional things reality, usually ending in disaster.

currently a bachelor, he lives alone aside from rusty and usually has a bit of spending money to blow on his biggest hobby. cars. the first is an white 87 trans am GTA that has more power than the wheels can handle, and the second is an old tattered looking jeep that he drives daily. but dont let looks fool you, it will go threw some of the scariest off road trails, and frequently makes new trails when he feels the others are getting old.

when he dose go out to the bars he chooses to be his furry self, looking for a mate who will appreciate him for himself. and aside from one or two one night stands, he's basically a failure in the relationship department. his kind caring nature makes it easier to talk to as a friend. the most recent being a rabbit named heather, who had a boyfriend on a business trip and just happened to be in heat the day they met. ever since she frequently calls asking for advice on anything from shopping to relationships.

Magic interests him to no end, unlike cars where its all heart pumping adrenaline and excitement, magic has this mystery about it that draws him in like a moth to a light. but having barely gotten threw the novice classes in sorcery school before doping out, he is essentially self taught. there is a small magic shop in town but the selection of spell books isnt mush to talk about. mostly beginner stuff that he already knows. occasionally one hits the shelf that leagues above his own talent, and he grabs it hoping to one day be able to handle the power it holds.
