Adopt TOS

PURCHASING -
-Prices are usually firm, please don't try to haggle.
-Purchase claims are reached through comments on the adoption submission only.
-I'll ask you to note me your paypal email after confirming your purchase claim.
-All adopt payments are to be made in USD through Paypal via invoice.
Holds are not allowed under any circumstances.
-Payment is expected upfront.
-If payment isn't received within 24 hours after I respond to the purchase claim the adopt will be put up for sale again.
-After purchase has been cleared you'll always receive a full resolution file of the adopt and a version with a transparent background.
-I reserve the right to refuse to sell art or characters.
-I reserve the right to decline and/or refund character adoptions and rescind ownership at my own discretion.
RESELLING/TRADING/GIFTING-
-Reselling is allowed.
-Please do not resell an adopt for more than the cost of its original purchase. If it is being sold with art accompanying, adjustment your price accordingly.
-You may not resell an adopt you got in a trade under any circumstances.
-Trading is allowed
-You may not trade (or resell) an adopt you received for free or as a gift.
-Gifting is allowed.
-Certain adopts come with a lifetime 10% discount off commissions featuring the character. If the character is traded or sold, the discount is NONTRANSFERRABLE. If the character is gifted, the buyer must let me know for the discount to carry over.
EDITING-
-You are free to make minor edits to your adopt as you please as long as the adopt is still recognizable.
THE BUYER IS ALLOWED TO-
-Use the copyrighted material for personal use only unless otherwise agreed upon.
-Print the art and claim the rights to their character(s) but not the artwork itself.
-Use the artwork to promote themselves with proper credit to the artist.
-Do not use any of my art or sold characters in religious or political topics or creations or for commercial use.
-Do not use my designs to promote hate or illegal activities.
THE FOLLOWING IS CONSIDERED COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT:
-Reproducing or Using the copyrighted material commercially.
-Taking Credit for the creation of the artwork.
-Removing any watermarks or signatures.
COPYRIGHT/USAGE-
-I, the artist, hold every right to a produced drawing, not the commissioner.
This includes but is not limited to:
Promoting myself with the artwork.
Publish media with the artwork featured.
Post and display the artwork wherever I please.
CANCELLATIONS-
-I withhold the right to cancel and refund the money for the commission at any time.
-The commissioner has no right to cancel or demand a refund under any circumstances after the final payment has been received.
Any statement can be bound to change if discussed with me, the artist, prior to the commission.
