I’ve been torn lately about whether or not to include NSFW content in my art submissions. While the vast majority of what I draw is SFW, I have been known to occasionally draw something NSFW, but don’t generally post it. Part of the reason is that my art style is kinda sketchy and not really detailed to begin with, and NSFW content usually doesn’t look right in the style, except maybe if there’s some kind of humor involved.

Lately I’ve been drawing with an equally sketchy coloring style (since it matches well with the drawing style), and this has got me wondering about doing commissions again. I did get a few comic commissions previously, but let’s be honest: the majority of the people here are here for NSFW art, and SFW combined with my sketchy style really limits my potential commissions.

So I guess the question I’m putting out (to anyone that might read this) is: Do you think I should try posting some NSFW art, and potentially, NSFW commissions? Or do you think it’s better if I remain SFW like I’ve been? Any feedback or suggestions would be helpful to resolve this dilemma.
