One or two of you might have noticed my journal, "*Deep sigh* Bondi Beach" was removed. I naturally asked the Gods, I mean Mods, why this was done, if only so I could avoid "stepping on this landmine" in future. I was told that disparaging remarks about, well, pretty much anyone, were Verboten.
They had me on that one - I strongly disapprove of mass murder, regardless of whether these murders are committed by properly uniformed government-funded death squads, or by gibbering freelance maniacs. Murder is BAD, and I will not be changing my opinion on that subject. My references to the ....persons... committing murder - and their gleeful enablers - will therefore pretty much always be "disparaging".

So what am I gonna do on FA, going forward? Not mention the horrors multiplyin' in the world around me? Or at least, say nothing about the folks responsible for 'em, as if these disasters were happening by themselves, with no human agency involved?

Dammit. Who knew being a grumpy old man would involve thinking and watching what I say?
