I'm Karno. I've been around long enough to know better, but I do this stuff anyway, because it's fun. Why hang around on this mudball if you're not having any fun? So enjoy my stuff, and show me yours. Fair trade, yes?

Healthcare fraud. (G)
OK, I'm posting this one pretty much to get my previous journal off the front page. The SPLC claims the funds given to the hate groups were to pay undercover informants. I wonder what information they could provide? "We're the saddest bunch of losers in the South, desperate for someone, anyone, to blame our litany of failures on"? But if everyone sees the KKK and their butt-buddies as pathetic bums, why should you give the SPLC money to protect you from 'em?
But yeah, the Department of Justice is now The Department of Trump Revenge, so very little they say can be trusted. Not that I trusted politically appointed Feds much to begin with. So what else is everyone in a tizzy about, other than the issues that really matter, of course?
How about Health Care, specifically healthcare fraud? Well, ole Prump isn't just talking about it, he's doing something! Namely, he's pardoned 15, count 'em, FIFTEEN health-care fraudsters so far.
El Presidente pardoned Paul Walczak, also Lawrence Duran. He committed Medicare fraud to the tune of $205 million. Joseph Schwartz stole $38 million, but Robert Harshbarger, only committed a measly $848,000 in health care fraud.
So remember kids, if you're gonna defraud some oldsters outa their healthcare, be sure to steal enough to be able to buy a Presidental Pardon! Who likes a half-assed thief? Steal BIG!
But give Prump credit, he's being proactive by reducing the amount of money that can be stolen from healthcare. He's enacted legislation that eliminated $1 trillion from Medicaid and Medicare, financially penalizing hospitals, nursing homes and other health care clinics as well as pushing 15 million Americans into the ranks of the uninsured. Nobody can steal your healthcare if you don't have any!
But getting caught committing fraud and then buying a pardon is awkward and expensive - a pain in the ass. But here comes Prump to the rescue! He's busily getting rid of the inspector generals whose jobs are identifying fraud. Ka-ching! Much cheaper and easier to not get caught in the first place.
Corporations and health care providers are responsible for just about all health care fraud, not patients. But I bet you red-hats are still all a-fluster about Somali fraudsters in Minnesota, aren't you? Good boys! (pats pointy heads) Pay no attention to the man behind the...no, actually, he's in front of the cheesy gold-colored drapes, openly taking bribes and lying out of both sides of his mouth. Isn't that just so lovable? How can you not kneel and kiss his ringpiece?
