Yay happy b-day to me. Went to Roosters and that was awesome, laughed my ass off. I loved going to standup comedy, everything is uncensored and live, no script at all.
Well as I sit here at peace with the world for a few brief moments berfore I have to go anywhere I give myself a little time to think. Part of me is wondering if I'm insane or not in wanting to of all things persue animation. Chuck Jones, Lauren Faust, Brad Bird, Craig McCracken, Windsor McCay, all these people acomplished so much and when I look at my copy of 'The Illusion of Life' and see many of them got started at 18 I feel intimidated by that. Sure every artist on here and every drawing book I ever picked up all began with the sentence, 'This is not some magical skill that is given to certain people, it is developed like anything else.' That doesn't help much about my view of honestly wondering what the heck I am thinking trying to join this club of theirs. But hopefully art lessons this fall will at least help me put my fear into perspective and maybe my idea won't seem so crazy after all.
