Sadly, you're reading the title right. I've made the harsh decision to cancel the Top 31 series for 2025. I didn't want to do this, but there are a few reasons why I chose to cancel it this year:



1. Conflict with College Classes: This semester, I'm trying to be more wary about how demanding my classes might get. I don’t usually go into full detail about my class schedule, but this semester, I'm taking Earth Materials, Earth Materials Lab, Physics, Physics Lab, Peoples of the World, and Introduction to Sociology. I'm still neutral about some of these classes, but the only one that is giving me problems so far is the physics lab. What's problematic about this class is that after every lab that I do, I have to write a lab report that is due on the day of the next lab. As you can already tell, that poses as a huge problem when it comes to getting all the Top 31 drawings done on time, and by on time, I mean by October 1st. Besides that, some of my other classes may pose way more of a problem, creating too much trouble.



2. Neglect of Other Projects: Ever since I first started the Top 31 series in 2023, I've noticed that I get so focused on making and posting all the drawings that I often end up neglecting some of my other projects, like my stories or any OCs I want to introduce. When paired up with my classes, this is a very bad thing, so it often leads to focusing on this thing or the other. You get the idea. Hopefully, by canceling Top 31 2025, I can focus on my other projects much easier.



3. Improper Planning: When it comes to picking a time to start making the drawings, I have often waited to do this in late August. After discussing the last two reasons however, I realized that waiting to start until that time period is a terrible idea, as it often causes me to rush the drawings to get them ready for when October begins. So, the best course of action I have to take is to move the drawing phase to the summer season, that way I have more time to prepare.



And so, that's everything you need to know as to why I canceled Top 31 2025. I'm so sorry that this had to happen, but this is my choice. To make it up to y'all, I'll still post something special on Halloween.
