About Kira

I’m a happy-go-lucky, fun-loving gamer who also happens to be a black jaguar. My favorite games include FPS, RTS, and RPGs but I’ll play just about anything and give it a try. I am disabled (I’ll explain that in another panel though) and transgender male to female. I love the furry fandom as it is a place I have found a home and acceptance along with those who love and care very much about me. I’m a big tech geek and a major anime nerd. Whatever I find interest in I try to do my very best and perfect if I can. I also enjoy tabletop gaming with games like Warhammer Age of Sigmar and 40k.

My Disability

In 2017, I suffered from a Transient Ischemic Attack or mini-stroke that caused me to not be able to return to work as an entertainment escort at Universal Studios. I also began to have seizures and weakness in my legs which was later found to be caused by a disease caused Syringomyelia. Syringomyelia is a disease of the spinal cord where a cyst forms and allows spinal fluid into the spinal canal, boring it out and causing nerve damage. I also suffer from herniated discs and degenerative disc disease.

Update 1 (May 2022): I had to have emergency spinal surgery for a disc that herniated and damaged nerves in my thoracic spine and they had to fuse from T7-L1 in November 2021. I am currently recovering well from that and will update as things go on or happen, but as of right now, I am walking again with limited mobility distance wise such as needing a walker for certain medium distances and a wheelchair for longer distances.

However, I am quite stubborn and also very determined to not let these disabling conditions get the best of me.
