I established this pricing around this time last year, and after looking over it I think it's still fairly reasonable.

Simple Sketch (paper)
-one to two characters - $3
-with more than two characters - $6

Detailed Sketch (i.e., cross hatching, shading, simple background on paper)
-one to two characters - $6
-with more than two characters - base price, $8*

Digital Medium

Simple Sketch (digital)
-one to two characters - $ 4
-with more than two characters - $7

Detailed Sketch (digital)
-one to two characters - $8
-more than two - base price $10*

Lineart
-one/two characters: $10
-more than two - base price $13*

Simple Color with Lineart
-base price - $9 (with up to three characters)
-additional characters $1 each

Soft Color or Cel Shading w/ Lineart
-base price: $15 (up to two characters)
-additional characters $2 each

*depending on additional characters/degree of difficulty
