Game designer working on Saorsa.

Any artwork uploaded here has been commissioned (often from people on FA itself!) for the game, and will include a reference for who drew it. I did not personally create any of the artwork myself beyond minor edits at most.

All artwork has been specifically commissioned for commercial use, and part of that is that I'm providing the use of that artwork for free use and distribution as well, with the two caveats that you specify who the artist is (even if they didn't put their signature or watermark on the picture), and that it's originally for the Saorsa game. Otherwise, feel free to use any uploads like the emoticons Tangerine made, put them on your discord server and so on. These pictures are expressly able to be used in this manner and the artists have agreed to such before work is done, and any applicable extra charges for commercial use have been paid already so you can do this.

If you want to make your own game based off Saorsa, write a book or other creative endeavor, you have full access to use the official artwork here, again with the caveats that you specify the artist for each piece and that it was originally for Saorsa itself.

Usage of any of the artwork in the above described manners is ROYALTY-FREE.

If you want to use this artwork as your personal characters, that's unfortunately not going to work as some of these are characters owned by some of the playtesters of the game and not up for grabs. However, if you really like any of the unique Saorsa species, I'm actually looking for people to make some unique characters based off of such. Feel free to message me directly, and I can provide the game rules for making a character of that species within them and if you want and give permission to, I may use your Saorsian character in the actual game book and pay for the art of them. If you already have a Saorsian character you've created for yourself based off this artwork or the game, and would like them to be in the game book with official artwork of them made, let me know! The caveats there are that it will also be available for public use (but not for people stealing your character), and you can't revoke the right to use it after the art's done is all.

If you are an artist who just likes these species and wants to make your own characters or art of them? These are all OPEN SPECIES, and there are no royalties on such, so feel free to do so! I'd just personally like to know you have done so is all, since it'd be neat to see, so please show me! =3

Do note this DOES NOT APPLY TO TRAINING AI as that is a separate thing you need to talk with the original artists about. While the contracts with them allow for professional use and sales, as well as that being copied over to others who want to make games or media based upon such, the rights for training AI based on their art is not included in these contracts. If you want to teach AI how to make Saorsian species, you'll have to either ask the artists directly yourself, or commission someone else to create art which can be used in that manner.
