Ciao meow!

After continuing to struggle a bit with how I should start to transition back into art commissions, I've come up with a strategy I think!
Since my 9-5 job is still something I gotta work around for at least another year or two, and I'm still needing to learn about how I should approach payment methods (cuz I can't just expect to take a pile of comms in hard cash from conventions like before in the USA), *and* I gotta figure out how I can mail out traditional pieces like badges and what those costs will be here in Japan... I was thinking I might make a brand new, shiny commission list, and for each category, I'll offer a free slot, first come first serve. I still don't have my drawing tablet, so I will just be starting with the traditional options, but it'll be an opportunity for me to do a test run of the process (how long it takes to draw and ship, what materials I'll need, where I need to get them and how much they cost...). This way, if there are any issues, especially with the shipping part and how long it might take in the end, there's no payment involved this time around, so no harm, no foul, right?

I'm not sure what day I'll open these request slots, but I think I'll drop them here, on Bluesky, and IG? I'm trying to move away from using twitter, so while I'll make an announcement about this there, I won't accept any inquiries about taking a slot on that site. I'm also not totally sure about dropping these slots on tumblr either, but that's just because I have no clue how to manage that site XD
My friend made my page Sephiroth based years ago, and I'm too lazy to figure out how to change it, but it's a little obnoxious with the looping music, so I think I'll hold off for now XDD

In any case, this is all a learning opportunity, so whether you snag a slot in the future or not, please understand that I'm in the process of brushing off the rust from not doing comms and online communication for like 3 years (^w^);;
I'm expecting to make a lotta mistakes and need clarification more than usual here, but I'm excited to dip my toes back into the art world and try to re-establish my workflow again~
