I'm not here to start a witch hunt, but I recently had a sour experience with an artist effectively ghosting me and running with the money.

Seanyleas took on multiple commissions worth over $1000 USD beginning in April 2025, and since that time, I have not received even a single sketch of any of the works for review, approval, or even an acknowledgement that they were in progress. I have received no updates on the status of any pieces that were commissioned, and after seeing her journal on June 12 saying everyone who had pending work with her should receive an update, I did not. I messaged her on discord that day and received no response. I followed up on June 30, 2025 through the FA Notes system and received no response, and as of today I can still see that the note is unread.

I detailed each comm that we had in the queue asking for even the slightest update on any of them but got silence in return. I am attempting to get my money back as I will not be paying for goods that I won't receive. Being ghosted like this really puts a damper on wanting to work with new artists beyond the reliable ones that I've had excellent communication with so far, but I wanted to at least make a post in case there's fallout from this.

Again, I don't want to start a witch hunt. I am just giving people a fair warning that buyer beware if you decide to work with her.
