Wow, 4 years since I last made a journal and 2 since my last submission.

I'm a terrible person.

A lot has happened in the past 2-4 years since I was here last so I thought I'd at least update so folks that are still interested know what's going on with me!

- I stopped properly drawing a while back and haven't drawn anything since. The spark has long gone and whether it will return is up in the air at the moment. I suppose I got really disillusioned with my work and interest waned greatly.

- Despite the lack of art however, my creativity seems to have taken me down other avenues I didn't quite expect. I sporadically write now, mostly for my own entertainment, and RPing with e-pals helps keep my new muse happy on that front. I enjoy the outlet and could do with more of it since my long term RP buddy seems to have disappeared on me. I feel starved of RP interaction lol.

- I've also taken up cosplaying too, however this is a fairly new activity that I'm learning. I may or may not post some images of my current project and some of my very first previous project should I remember, but it's become an oddly addictive (and somewhat expensive) hobby to pursue. But being able to create something with my hands again, other than writing, has been therapeutic.

- Job wise I've moved on from my retentions call centre work and now work at a university as a technician, have been for almost 4 years now. Looks like education seems to be in my blood the amount of times I've found myself finding my way back to this avenue of work.

- I have my own house now! It took many years of saving up cash and living frugally while at my parent's place, but I now live in my own place and share my space with two adopted fuzz balls who demand so much attention it's unreal. A year later and I'm still trying to teach them how to use the cat flap without me propping it open for them all the time...

- I still game. I'm fluttering between FFXIV, Overwatch, ME:A, Zelda: BotW and other games that pop up. I have a feeling I'm going to be chugging through my backlog for a looooooong long time to come yet. Who knows, maybe one of these (lookin' at you Overwatch and your awesome characters) will rekindle my inner artist. One can hope!

- And of course family stuff has put me through the ringer, most of it bad and turbulent. I'd rather not go into the details but when a family member disowns everyone for a partner and starts stirring up crap that requires social workers to intervene, well, you know it's fucked up. Lovely.

Of course there has been plenty happening over the years but I'll be damned if I can remember all of it!

Here's hoping I can at least be a bit more active these days.
