Furry Quiz, Pt. 2 (G)
What was your first fursona?
As stated before, fox. :D
Post some of your favorite art of your Fursona.
Two favorite pieces: Flower Crown and Autumn.
How do you feel about furry conventions?
Amazing. I love them. Can't wait to check out NFC. <3
Have you brought anyone into the fandom?
Not yet, but never say never. :P
Paws or Maws?
I think rather Paws. :D
Favorite anthro character from pop culture?
Good question, no idea. Might be Jake Long (American Dragon), might be Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez (Bleach).
How has your view of the fandom changed over time?
2017 — All love, floofy escapist place, safe world, everyone is nice and happy, all clouds and rainbows
2018/2019 — Drama, fake faces, degeneracy, social incompetence, some few nice people, otherworldly general sex obsession
post EF2019 — Some very nice folks and also some kind of actual culture behind everything that deserves to be acknowledged and appreciated properly
2020/now — Reflection of general society. Some good folks, some not so good folks. Get to know everyone throughly before letting them get closer to you. Don't trust gossip. Social inept folks are what bothers me most. Stay away from drama related stuff and you'll be happy. :) - It's not all about fucking.
What can we do better as a community?
1) The personal cult some people try to build is sickening on another level. Learn that everyone, artist, fursuiter or 'influencer' is just a normal human being and not some kind of immortal god.
2) Do not sexualize/fetishize everything.
3) Don't encourage/enable bad behaviour for the sake of being more liked or famous.
4) Sometimes, people need to be 'softly' pushed out of their comfort zone in order to improve. More people should recognize that.
5) Do mind what people might think about you. Especially in public places, it can reflect very badly on the community as a whole.
Happiest memory from your time in the fandom?
Woah. That's not an easy one. I'd say EF2019 as a whole tbh. Helped me to fix myself, see life and the fandom somewhat from a different perspective, found some amazing folks. :)
What does the furry fandom mean to you?
Community, exchange, creativity, change - I think. :D
