On the same day I FINALLY got my September checks [context; my job didn't pay me the entirety of Sept]….I found out the 'Big Bea-u-tiful Bill' has cut my food benefits by more than half

I feel for people who are learning the hard way that Tr*mp and his goons do not actually want to help citizens, only fill their own pockets by draining ours.

I'm trying my best to make ends meet, but like many others, moves like these are detrimental to our ability to maintain any semblance of stability. Making access to food, healthcare, housing, etc. even more difficult than it already is will not lead to a better future.

I'll be taking some time to figure out what I can do in these circumstances- I already went through a health scare with malnutrition and cholesterol issues eating whatever I could get my hands on before getting food benefits, and I don't want to go through that ever again. I've also been homeless many times in my life and don't want to go through that again either.
