Okay, seriously, I gotta address this before it gets out of hand...

For a while now I've been getting all these comments about Fiddler On The Roof. I ain't seen it, and it doesn't look like something I'd enjoy, so I ain't gonna see it. Not to say that I hate musicals, but I'm just not interested in the old-school stuff. (Jersey Boys, on the other hand... now, there's a show! Righteous tunes, sharp dressers, and smooth moves! Why can't I get mistaken for someone from Jersey Boys? There's no justice.)

A few stubborn people have been insisting that I stole my fursona from Fiddler On The Roof, of all things. They say "seriously, that's where you got LaserWolf, right?" Gimme a break! Look at me, people! I'm a human-sized cartoon wolf with a hairstyle and coloring which doesn't exist in nature! I carry around a pistol powered by technology which wasn't invented until 1960! How in the hell could I have existed in Russia in 1905? It's so ludicrous that I don't even know how to answer it. Like there's a song that goes "Matchmaker, matchmaker, make me a match, a grey timberwolf with mohawk attached"... No. Just no.

LaserWolf is an original! (Notwithstanding all those awesome people that inspired me!) Accept no substitutes!

(Disclosure: Yeah, Miss Piggy had that Frank Oz guy who rode her coattails all the time, and I got one of those annoying hanger-on guys, too. rhubarbthebear is under the impression that he's my manager or somethin'. I prefer to think of him as a gofer, and a pretty spotty gofer at that. Gopher. Heh.

Also, the always excellent lonewolfraven may be appearing as my stunt double, particularly at cons and other non-Julie Bunny specific events. I'm flexible like that. Never underestimate the power of friends who know how to wield a hot glue gun.)
