Hey, I'm LeasCelyn, call me Lesley or Les. I guess you could think of me as the idiosyncratic author type; I'm weird and abstract but I'm also very open to new experiences and like to have fun. Besides my art, I love dogs, bird watching, philosophy and mythology. I do a lot of reading and videogaming in my spare time, or otherwise ramble about the internet being myself. I'm no genius, but I know a little bit about a lot of things; generally I'm pretty laid back and friendly and such. X3

As for my work and what you can expect to see from me, I'm primarily a fantasy writer and currently working on my historical fiction novel An American Legend, which deals with a family of animal shapeshifters across several generations in a historical context (although the part I'm currently working on and will be posting is limited to one era.) I have several side projects running as well, including two RPG maker videogames set in original fantasy universes and a fanon project for the Myst PC game series which will probably take the form of writing once I get to a point where my ideas for it are actually coherent. All of them are likely to feature in art here at some point or another.

Besides my writing, I also draw! My traditional artwork tends to focus on the form language of nature, animals and organic shapes, bordering on horror at times but mostly being surreal and grotesque. I will also post concept art of my original characters from time to time. I don't do any kind of fetish work though- I don't get anything out of it personally because I'm effectively genderless, and also asexual, but I'm not here to put any anyone else down for their interests so don't be afraid of me or anything if you do like that kind of stuff. I don't care what gender pronouns you use for me, although I would probably be confused and not know you're talking to me if you called me a male because no one ever has before.

I have three 'sonas- scale, feather and fur:

Leas-Celyn is my Scalesona and the main one I identify as. Xe is a blue and white fish-eating philosopher who hails from the wilds of Northern Europe and surprisingly predates How To Train Your Dragon, despite owning a Viking battle axe and knowing how to use it. (Xe's a technical pacifist though, so no worries!)

Yeslyn is my Feathersona and the bitchiest of the three. Half White-Necked Raven and half Snowy Owl, and an ice elemental who will eat all of your children before turning on you. Can't function properly without morning coffee.

Angel is my Fursona, a blue merle Australian Shepherd park ranger who also happens to be a forest spirit. Xe has a sweet tooth problem and will devour all of your candy instead of your children. Ditzy and bubbly in the 'I just walked into this room but now I don't remember why I'm here' kind of way.
