I've been into furry stuff the last couple of years. I didn't realize I've been on this site regularly for four years going on five already (time flies). I've never been public with people around me about it at all or even decided on if I wanted to ever make a fersona myself, but the community seemed pretty great. Don't know still if I ever will be vocal about it. I can say that I'm here to stay within this community.
