I just wanted to thank all the people who like what I am doing.

I got a really hard setback in the last few weeks because I got told I wasn't so good at painting, and then, I realized it wasn't wrong, well, everything is relative (Art skills are very relative). It helped me realize that what I wanted currently to to with my skills in art is to make people happy and be appreciated for my work. This is a beautiful goal because I don't need to become technically better to achieve this (well, this will obviously happen with time and is welcome), so I can start now.

I noticed that the goal here is to make something that connect with people, not to show-off how realistic and detailed I can go. But it is not that easy, as you can tell, I got a small but growing gallery of paintings and tests of various styles. I hope, in my first year on FA, to find my style by finding a match between what I am comfortable with and what you people like to see.

I have never been seriously on any art site more than a month, I am currently breaking this record on FA because of such nice feedback you guys gave me. If it wasn't for you, I probably would have stopped painting because I would not have seen any use of it anymore. It would have been really unsettling because drawing and painting has always been a part of me and it never really found it's place in my adult life.

I wanted to write this in reaction to the popularity of Big Moo 4 U I got so quickly, It gave me hope that I am in the right direction to find a style we'll all love.
