What is a lonkey: it started out as a mix between a lion and a monkey, but has since become so much more. I started adding lore to it, laws to the species in terms of appearance, and in time they became their own thing entirely with inspiration from the animals

The rules: a lonkey must be somewhere between skinny and muscular. If they are fat, they must always be holding food as per the lore. If you wish to make an official lonkey, you need to message me on twitter or reddit and let me check them out and approve them. Unofficial lonkeys, and anything inspired by them are fine too, but for it to be considered a lonkey, I need to approve it, and will post it on the app you contacted me on. The only reason I want to make sure is that this species means so much to me, and so does the lore

The lore: a lonkey has trouble getting fat, and an easy time getting muscle mass. As such, they are usually skinny, pretty fit, or even completely shredded. In order for a lonkey to be fat, they must always be eating. There is a hierarchy among the lonkeys, and there are five breeds: the orgons (or-GONE), the keylings (KEY-ling), the blaats (BLAAT), the wilfs (wIlf), and the sheefas (SHEE-fuh). Each breed possesses a different kind of magic, and the ranking on the hierarchy determins how good they are at magic. Royalty has nothing to do with bloodline or marriage, so a king and a queen can be related, married, or not even know eachether. Each breed has a particular appearance and dress to them, and some might even act more a certain way depending on the breed. Two parents will always have a random breed. This can be the same as the two parents, or a breed that is separated from them depending on what fate has in store. The lonkeys all have a feeling of fondness twords eachother, and arguing is not normally a problem, even when it comes to the hierarchy. Lonkeys are usually very content with themselves, and power is seen more as a way of life than a force people can use. The hierarchy is meant more so nobody gets hurt than a leadership position. Lonkeys have a way of caring for eachother, so a leader is never needed

orgon lore: orgon lonkeys are a proud and knowledgeable race. They often wear suits, and have a keen sense of direction. They tend to be very well mannered, and protect whatever they desire most. Orgon are deemed their status by magical prowess, and are throned by a formal one on one match of sparring called an “elevate”. Elevates are regulated, upheld, and judged by the top ten most powerful that aren’t in the match. Orgons also tend to be pretty well built, but not too muscular

Orgon magic: orgon lonkeys are able to control the elements by emotion, movement, and understanding of the element. A higher up can create a tidal wave or an earthquake by simply nodding, while a lower class must practice day in and day out to spark a single flame. The lower class can also only use one element, while an upper class can use all four

orgon males: the males tend to have brown fur with a golden mane. The higher ups groom their hair and beards, keeping them short, while the lower class tries to keep their hair as long and unkempt as possible. The mane on an orgon goes from the head to the start of the tail, and they have a fluffy tail tip

orgon females: female orgons have long, flowing brown hair with clean golden fur. They tend to keep clean, and will only cut their hair if they shame or dishonor themselves, and will try growing it back when they feel they have been redeemed.

keyling lore: the keylings have a horn on their head, and their faces tend to be longer than the rest of the lonkeys. They have pastel colored fur from all sides of the color spectrum, and are usually striped. The keylings are the most calm and collected, and often wear traditional Chinese robes. They like to meditate, pull harmless pranks, make people smile, draw, and share their wisdom with others. They often remain celibate, but there are several who are more carefree with their bodies. Keylings are taller than most lonkeys, have whiskers, and are typically very skinny

Keyling magic: a keyling has the ability to write in the air with their favorite color. They often use this to convey their wisdom. The higher ups are able to leave the drawing in the air after they are finished, and even animate it. The lower class must focus extremely hard to draw. While some are born with a natural gift to draw, others must work very hard to get better at their craft, but all encourage the hard work and talent of others

keyling males: a male usually has a vertical tiger-like patern on their fur, and have Chinese dragon-like scales on the tip of their tails. They also tend to be shorter than the females

keyling females: while the males have horizontal stripes, the females have vertical stripes, and usually have a white tummy that leads to under the tail. They often wear a backwards veil the same color they draw in

blaat lore: the blasts have reptilian wings, and are much more gothic than the other lonkeys. They tend to be the most carefree, happy, and promiscuous of the lonkeys. The hierarchy of the blaats is based on how complex the fur design is, how long the tail is, and how controlled they are with their powers. There are no kings or queens with the blaats, but there are lower class and higher ups like the rest of the lonkeys. Thy also tend to use sex as a currency, and see it as the ultimate joy in life

Blaat magic: a blaat lonkey has the power to control the weather. A higher up can become lighting, or cause a storm that can devastate a country. A lower class usually can conduct electricity, and make a small rain cloud, but not much more

blaat males: a blaat male is usually more feminine, and has a star at the end of their tail. They also have a jaguar print that’s very monotone in colors ranging from dark red and navy blue to black and white. The males have piercings to indicate the number of kids they have (with a maximum of 20)

blaat females: blaat females have a cheetah patern, neon colored noses, ears, and eyes, a heart shape at the end of their tail, and are usually colored very neon with tons of color. They have piercings to indicate how many days in a row they have had sex (with a maximum of 10)

wilf lore: wilf lonkeys have the biggest ears of the group, and are typically very muscular, and have a bombastic personality. They are easily excited, and have very short tempers. They love arm wrestling, alcohol, rough housing, and speak before they think. What they usually lack in social graces or intelligence, they make up for in partying. They have very long and straight fur with wavy or curly hair, and the bigger they are, the higher they are on the hierarchy.

Wilf magic: wilfs have super strength, dexterity, speed, and survivability. A higher up can survive jumping in a volcano and bench press a house, while a lower class can lift a car with enough effort, but gets hurt easy

wilf males: wilf males have shoulder length hair, and have a Timberwolf fur patern. They have extremely fluffy tails, and equally sharp teeth

wilf females: wilf females keep their hair short, and have a husky fur patern. They have even fluffier tails than the males, vibrant blue eyes, and and will wear a collar if they are married

sheefa lore: sheefa lonkeys are much much fuzzier than the other lonkeys, and as a result have more rounded faces. They tend to keep to themselves, and are very shy and reserved. They don’t like leaving their comfort bubble, but will usually help out whoever needs it without hesitation. They all have a single colored fur patern in black, grey, brown, white, green, tan, or blue. They enjoy life’s simple pleasures, and steer clear of hostility whenever they can. The hierarchy of the sheefas are dependent on who can heal the fastest, most efficiently, and farthest from the target

Sheefa magic: sheefas are able to heal with a yellowish white light. The best healers are able to save anyone who is within an inch of their life, while the worst can sometimes hurt or even kill those they are trying to heal. They draw their powers from concentration, emotion, and the users own stamina

sheefa male: sheefa males typically have very large mouths, manes that are very long and reach the chest, and are very handsome. All male sheefas have one left eye the same color as their fur, which glows when they use their power

sheefa female: the females have hair that they always brush to the right side. They also have a larger and pointed nose than the males, and are often times a bit smaller. Their right eye is the same color as their fur, and glows when they use their power

Appearance: a lonkey must be easy to view as a lion and a monkey at the same time. They have long tails of verging widths that they can use as a n extra limb. Lonkeys have lion feet, and some have no hair on parts like fingers or chest, while other are covered entirely. The type of monkey doesn’t matter, as long as it follows the rest of the rules. They are typically a capuchin monkey, though, so do with that information what you will (and yes, gorillas and other apes count in this assessment)

My lonkey: my lonkey is leon. He is a middle class orgon who can control air and fire. He is very excitable, and is a little more built than most of his breed. He is a capuchin monkey mixed with a lion, and has a pet bunny that is a Netherland dwarf. He is also a wrestler (wwe style), and a bboy. He likes making friends, hugs, and freerunning. He is my one and only fursona, and he’s my baby boy
