Hi! I'm Niko! I'm a 21 y/o girl who has been very slowly approaching the furry community over the years. I am still very new, so I might make mistakes in terms of how to approach social situations and such.

My fursona is a combination of a cat and a cow. I heavily identify with both animals and couldn't feel comfortable with just one! It didn't feel like me! I refer to my fursona in first person, because generally, she's just me! Same name, same basic appearance, same body type... I take the "sona" bit kind of far, I suppose. Generally I have ignored my furry tendencies throughout school, and only just recently have I started trying to learn more. My close friends in real life treat this type of thing as a joke, but I can't deny my interest. The community has always looked like somewhere I want to be. I've just been too scared previously!! So hopefully this account will help me with that, even just a little...!

I live with my boyfriend in an apartment that we got just a few months ago. All money made from commissions will go towards rent money. Currently my share of rent is $300, but that does not include the price of food / bills. I have really serious depression and have since basically 5th grade, so having a 'normal' job is hard for me... I am also very socially anxious, but I am trying to improve that slowly... I'm hoping by using this account, I will find great artists who will teach me a lot. The concept of getting commissions is, of course, something I am very interested in... But it's okay if I don't get much business!! Most of all, I just want a place that I can grow and start to embrace this part of myself!
